President Trump heads to the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio Thursday for his first rally in 2020 as he deals with tensions in Iran and impeachment limbo on Capitol Hill.
Mr. Trump announced on Wednesday that Iran appears to be standing down for now after strikes on Iraqi bases housing U.S. troops. Mr. Trump said the U.S. will impose new sanctions until Iran significantly modifies its behavior. The House is voting on aintended to limit the president’s authority in dealing with Iran shortly before he leaves for his rally.

During a strange turn during his Michigan rally, President Donald Trump talked about former Rep. John Dingell, who died in February. Trump made a statement that sounded like he was hinting that Dingell might be in hell.
This was shortly after the House voted to impeach him.
“I said that’s ok, don’t worry about it… Maybe he’s looking up, I don’t know,” Trump commented. The crowd groaned and laughed in response to what Trump said.
President Trump is holding a rally in Battle Creek, Michigan, on Wednesday, the day the House is voting on impeachment. The House is debating – one that accuses him of abuse of power over his dealings with Ukraine and another that says he obstructed Congress by defying subpoenas issued by the House in pursuit of its impeachment investigation.
