ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – People are terrified after surveillance video captured a drive-by shooting right outside their neighbor’s Northeast Heights home.
The shooting happened early Monday morning around 5:20 a.m. in a trailer park near San Pedro and Alameda. Video shows a car driving, then someone inside the car opening fire at one of the trailer homes.
Cody Mock lives across the street from the home that was shot at. He’s lived in the trailer park with his wife and three kids for the past five years, and said crime is pretty common in his neighborhood.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- A search warrant sheds light on a case involving the dead of a 4-year-old child.
Police were called to the Cinnamon Tree Apartments in southeast Albuquerque Tuesday, where they found child unresponsive.
He told police he tripped and fell on the child — knee first.

The ordeal has left the family of four shaken, but at the same time thankful as it could have been much, much worse.
SOCORRO COUNTY, N.M. — Two people died and 14 others were injured during a traditional Navajo religious ceremony in New Mexico.
The 14 people who were injured were suffering from smoke inhalation, said Christina Tsosie, with the Navajo Police Department.
SUNLAND PARK, N.M. — New Mexico State Police says they are one of the agencies investigating a fatal officer-involved shooting involving the U.S. Border Patrol. The shooting happened in Sunland Park early Monday morning.
The officer involved in the shooting is OK, according to New Mexico State Police.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection said someone pulled out a firearm and shot at a U.S. Border Patrol agent. The agent reportedly returned fire and killed that person.Several law enforcement agencies responded to a shooting involving U. S. Border Patrol in Sunland Park.
It happened on McNutt Road near Sunland Park Monday morning. U. S. Border Patrol leaders said when an agent stopped a vehicle in the area, four people got out of the vehicle. One of those people ran away, but an agent caught up to them.
That person pulled a gun on the agent, according to U. S. Border Patrol officials. The agent fired at the person, injuring them.
