During a Q&A at the College of Charleston Bully Pulpit series, a member of the audience said “I saw, in March, on Twitter, a video, you were at a town hall just like this in Cleveland, and someone asked you specifically, specifically about third trimester abortions, and you said that it’s the decision left up to the mother.”
“So, my question is this. I was born September 8th, 1989, and I want to know if you think on September 7th, 1989, my life had no value?” the man asked.
“Of course I don’t think that, and of course I’m glad that you’re here,” O’Rourke said, adding “But you referenced my answer in Ohio, and it remains the same. This is a decision that night of you nor I comment or the United States government, should be making.”
The Left continues to show their total hatred for America every day. This time, Hasan Piker, a host for the far-left media company ‘The Young Turks,’ said that “America deserved 9/11” during an online stream. Piker also made fun of Republican Congressman and former Navy SEAL Dan Crenshaw for losing his eye in Afghanistan.
HBO “Real Time” host Bill Maher celebrated the death of right-wing billionaire David Koch, who died of prostate cancer. “I guess I’m going to have to reevaluate my low opinion of prostate cancer,” Maher said.
“Condolences poured in from all the politicians he owned and mourners are being asked, in lieu of flowers, to just leave their car engine running,” he said.
“I know these seem like harsh words and harsh jokes, and I’m sure I will be condemned for them on Fox News, which will portray Mr. Koch as a principled libertarian who believed in the free market,” Maher said. “He and his brother have done more than anybody to fund climate science deniers — for decades.”
“So f*ck him, cause the Amazon is burning up, I’m glad he’s dead and I hope the end was painful,” Maher said.
Pop superstar Taylor Swift has admitted she is “very remorseful” about her refusal to get involved in the 2016 presidential election, but has pledged to “do everything I can for 2020” to promote progressive candidates and public policy.
She said her negative public image at the time made her feel “just useless. And maybe even like a hindrance”, adding that she felt “really remorseful for not saying anything”. She confirmed that she would otherwise have endorsed Hillary Clinton for president.
The Guardian met Swift as Tennessee lawmakers were voting to impose a near-total ban on abortion in the state. “Obviously, I’m pro-choice,” Swift said on the matter. “I just can’t believe this is happening.” She pledged to “do everything I can for 2020”.
This was an incredible video by British broadcaster, journalist, writer and television personality, Piers Morgan . Piers recently sat down for an interview with Ben Shapiro. During their discussion the topic of the modern day left came up.
Piers Morgan: Populism is rising because liberals have become unbearable, Okay? And I speak as a liberal… Liberals have become utterly, pathetically illiberal and it’s a massive problem. What’s the point of calling yourself a liberal if you don’t allow anyone else to have a different view? You know, this snowflake culture we operate in, this victimhood culture that everyone, has to think in a certain way, behave a certain way. Everyone has to have a bleeding heart… You say a joke 10 years ago that offended somebody you can never host the Oscars… So what’s happening around the world? Populism is rising because people are fed up with the PC culture. They’re fed up with the snowflake culture. They’re fed up with everyone being offended by everything… They just want to tell people, not just how to lead their life but if you don’t lead it the way I tell you to, It’s a kind of version of fascism.
