The estate of disgraced financier and convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein was sued by the U.S. Virgin Islands on Wednesday, claiming he abused girls as young as 11 years old on his secluded island in that territory. Epstein, 66, died in a federal jail in Manhattan in August after he was arrested on new sex trafficking charges of underage females in the early 2000s in Florida and New York.
The lawsuit also provided more details about his alleged crimes as recently as 2018.
“Air traffic controllers and other airport personnel reported seeing Epstein leave his plane with young girls some of whom appeared to be between the age of 11 and 18 years,” it said, referring to an incident two years ago.
Surveillance footage from outside Jeffrey Epstein’s cell during his suicide attempt was destroyed, prosecutors revealed Thursday.
The revelation in a letter filed by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Maurene Comey and Jason Swergold is the latest head-spinning disclosure from the feds about the footage from the Metropolitan Correctional Center on July 22 and 23. Epstein attempted to hang himself that night while sharing a cell with accused quadruple murderer Nick Tartaglione, officials have said.

The remains of Jeffrey Epstein were laid to rest beside his parents Pauline and Seymour Epstein at IJ Morris Star of David Cemetery in Loxahatchee, Florida, it is believed.
This unmarked stone crypt at an exclusive Jewish mausoleum is the likely final resting place of Jeffrey Epstein, DailyMail.com can reveal.
Sources believe the pedophile financier’s remains were transported to Loxahatchee, Florida so they could be entombed beside his parents, Pauline ‘Paula’ and Seymour Epstein.
Cemetery staff have refused to say why they mysteriously removed the couple’s memorial plate last Wednesday – the day after 66-year-old Epstein’s low-key funeral in New York – and replaced it with a blank white slab.
The neighboring crypt has a brand new, unmarked plate but when DailyMail.com contacted Epstein’s only sibling Mark to confirm that the sex offender’s remains were sealed inside, he raged: ‘It’s nobody’s f**king business.’
