Indonesian National Disaster Management Agency Mil Mi-35 helicopter collided with a car during failed takeoff. There were no personal injuries.
The helicopter was boarded by the Head of the National Disaster Management Agency Central Lieutenant General Doni Monardo.
The helicopter was piloted by the Pilot Captain Cpn Faris Affandi and the Copilot First Lieutenant Erika.
At 11.50 pm the helicopter took off to Siau district. The helicopter did not have the power to take off and suddenly swooped backward so that the tip of the left-wing of the helicopter collided with the front of the official car.

SINGAPORE: A strong earthquake struck off Indonesia’s islands of Sumatra and Java on Friday (Aug 2), triggering a tsunami warning.
According to Indonesia’s Meteorology and Climatology Agency BKMG, the 7.4 magnitude quake struck at a shallow depth of about 10km offshore, some 147km from Sumur, southwest of the capital Jakarta.

A tsunami warning has been issued for the coastal areas of Banten, West Java, Lampung and Bengkulu, the agency added.
