ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. – Cell tower workers — the brave souls who climb hundreds of feet into the air to make sure your cellphone works — have a terrifying enough job, but police said an Alexander County woman made it even scarier by shooting at them this weekend.
Susan Moose has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon after court documents state she fired a .22 revolver at a cellphone tower worker.
BIDEN: “I’m the only guy that’s beaten the NRA and my state is a big gun-owning state because of hunting. I’m the only guy that’s beaten them twice. I got assault weapons banned for ten years, it had to be reauthorized because of hanging chads in Florida. The last president said no, I’m not going to reauthorize it.”
UPDATE: The two subjects in critical condition have died. The 14-year old caller was interviewed and confessed to shooting all five members of his family in the residence. He is currently assisting investigators in locating the weapon, a 9mm handgun that he said he tossed nearby.
HOUSTON — Police say a man pulled a gun at a Popeyes restaurant in Houston after being told the restaurant was out of chicken sandwiches. Houston police Lt. Larry Crows on says officers were called to the restaurant Monday night after a group of people tried to order a chicken sandwich.
Crowson says, “When the manager told them they were out, one of the males became upset and pulled a pistol and demanded a chicken sandwich. The manager again informed them they were out of sandwiches.”
