A new report has found that Canadians are more likely to experience severe vaginal tearing during childbirth, but one expert is looking at the stats with caution.
Dr. Jennifer Blake, CEO of The Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada, said the OECD results have been pretty consistent over the years, and have been given very serious consideration. She said it’s difficult to make an apples-to-apples comparison with other countries for a few reasons.
Both of these factors — being older and a first-time mother — put women at increased risk of vaginal tearing, Blake said.
The guy with his face and arms painted black is the current Prime Minister of Canada… https://t.co/qc4JixBSNw— Zachary Greco (@Zakk_Greco) September 19, 2019
Global News has obtained video showing Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau in blackface, the third instance of racist dress to come to light in 12 hours.
It’s not clear when or where the video was taken, but the video, obtained exclusively by Global News, shows Trudeau covered in what appears to be dark makeup and raising his hands in the air while laughing, sticking his tongue out and making faces. He’s wearing a white T-shirt, and his jeans are ripped at the knees. It appears as though his arms and legs are covered in makeup as well. It does not appear the video was shot at the same time and place of the other photos of Trudeau in racist make-up that have emerged in the past 24 hours.

Twitter is going wild over Bianca Andreescu, not just for her stunning upset of tennis icon Serena Williams, but because she proved a long-lived Canadian stereotype by apologizing after her win.
In an interview after the win, Andreescu was asked about the second half of the match, when Serena seemed poised to make a comeback. She was asked what her biggest obstacle to overcome in that moment was.
Andreescu pondered the question. Then, a smile.
“Definitely the crowd,” she said, laughing sheepishly. As the audience of over 20,000 Americans roared, she turned away from the interviewer to send her words out to them, her hands held up beseechingly.
“I know you guys wanted Serena to win, so I’m so sorry!”
On Monday, Emily Rodgers arrived home to find one of the normally nocturnal creatures nearly knocked out in her southwest Ottawa backyard.
“He couldn’t really move. He was dragging his legs, he was wobbling, having a hard time standing up. You could tell something was wrong with him for sure,” Rodgers said.
After watching the raccoon for several hours, Rodgers called 311 and city workers came to remove the animal.
I’m rooting for a direct hit on Mar a Lago! https://t.co/cA14KQvjpC— Kim Campbell (@AKimCampbell) August 28, 2019
Former Canadian Prime Minister Kim Campbell expressed her wishes for Hurricane Dorian to make a ‘direct hit’ on President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club.
Campbell, who served less than five months as Canada’s prime minister following the resignation of Brian Mulroney in 1993, faced backlash for the tweet, many calling it “embarrassing” and “disgusting.”
