How climate change could make your food less safe to eat

Changes to the world’s climate could mean more frequent outbreaks of food-borne illness, according to a recent reportfrom the Public Health Agency of Canada, and Canadians need to be ready to deal with the risks.

The report, published in April, found that food-borne disease “represents a significant climate change-related threat to public health.”
